The latest CD from the Paulus Folkertsma Stichting features a selection of 19 songs from the composer's diverse oeuvre. Soloists are Tetsje van der Kooi, Netty Otter, Ben Brunt and Arjen Veenhuizen, with pianists Lieven Sienema and Johan Bijhold. Mr. Bijhold can also be heard performing two sonatinas for piano by Folkertsma.
With a total playing time of 55 minutes, the CD comes with an extensive booklet containing biographical notes on the composer and the performers, and the full texts of the featured songs.
